One more arrested for attack on school boy

Police says that Lali,aged 20,who was arrested today was driving the vehicle in which all the assailants came to the school. Raids would continue to arrest the others. All the accused arrested till now are residents of Colony Number 5.

Of the three arrested on Thursday,Vinod and Dalip have been sent to two days police custody,while the third Vimal has been sent to one day’s custody. Vimal’s lawyer had taken the plea that he was a juvenile. However,no proof could be produced to back up the claim.

The incident had occurred when the school got over at 10.30 am due to half day holiday. A group of armed youngsters attacked a student of the school reportedly a day after they had a minor scuffle outside the school premises.

Apart from attacking teachers,the group also smashed the glass door of the principal’s office in order to free one of their accomplices who had been caught by the teachers. The attack had caused panic in the school.
