On Sukhbir’s request,Patiala House to premiere in Patiala

Releasing on February 11,the film directed by Nikhil Advani is basically a family drama that revolves around a London-based second generation Sikh’s dream to play cricket. The actor in the lead role is Akshay Kumar. And according to reports appearing in a section of media,the main star cast was to attend the film’s premiere either in UK or Mumbai.

“Yes,I had requested that the premiere be held in Patiala. And I will be attending the premiere on February 10,” Sukhbir told The Indian Express on Sunday.

SRS operations manager Meenu Singh said arrangements were in place for the premiere. “I would say 80 per cent of the plan for Patiala House premiere at SRS Cinemas has been finalised. Akshay,Anushka and Rishi Kapoor are among those who will be coming to Patiala for the show,” said Singh.
