MC to make health,education sub-panels

These sub-committees would be involved in the process of discussion over issues in detail in order to facilitate formulation of the new policies.

The civic body has also constituted a committee to frame new recruitment rules. At present,the staff of the UT Administration is still working in the departments that have been transferred to the civic body. However,by March-end the civic body would have to recruit its own staff.

The process is under way to have the Municipal Corporation’s own health cadre,education cadre and engineering cadre. For this,the civic body would have to formulate its own recruitment rules.
