Khattar directs action against officers behind delay

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday chaired a meeting of administrative secretaries to review the implementation of CM’s announcements and asked them to expedite work on the pending announcements. Khattar also directed administrative secretaries to take action against those officers responsible for delay in implementation of the announcements made by him.

Khattar had made a total of 9962 announcements from the year 2014 to 2023, out of which work on 6555 announcements have been completed while 1179 were still in progress.

While reviewing the announcement made in the year 2015 to build a warehouse in Punhana that was yet to be completed, Khattar directed to form a committee, investigate the entire issue and take action against the officials for the delay if found guilty. In the meeting, the CM reviewed projects of various departments, including Medical Education and Research, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Revenue and Disaster Management.
