Kala Sanghia: Dist admn maintains strict stand on pollution

In spite of the protest by the industry representatives who even walked out of a meeting convened by Jalandhar Division Commissioner on Thursday,the district administration has made it clear that industry has no right to create the pollution and strict action would be taken for spreading any kind of pollution.

The industry leaders even announced to observe a bandh on Friday to protest against the unfriendly attitude of the administration towards industry. The meeting convened by Commissioner SR Ladhar was attended by PPCB officials.

It was a review meeting regarding pollution check in the Kala Sanghia drain which was blocked on May 18 by villagers.
