JD(U) workers hold stir at Transport Chowk

The workers of Chandigarh Janata Dal (United) today held a protest rally at Transport Chowk and burnt the effigy of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray.

The workers of Chandigarh Janata Dal (United) today held a protest rally at Transport Chowk and burnt the effigy of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray to protest against his outbursts against migrants. They demanded the registration of a case of sedition against Thackeray.

Surinder Bhardwaj,the president of Chandigarh JD(U) said the hate speeches of Thackeray against people from northern states living in Maharashtra and his hatred against Hindi clearly showed that he had no respect for Hindi,Hindustani and Hindustan. Bhardwaj added that Thackeray was spreading a regional communal hatred,and was working on the agenda of foreign agencies like Pakistan’s ISI,that want to divide and destabilise the nation to weaken its strength.
