INSO asks for extension of last date for PU admission

Student members of Indian National Student Organisations (INSO) submitted a memorandum to the Vice-Chancellor,Professor Arun Kumar Grover,on Friday seeking extension of the last date for admissions in various courses of the university.

Members of the organisation have held that every year at the start of the new academic session,many students do not report for classes after taking admission. According to rules,the admission of such students is cancelled,leaving many seats vacant in all departments.

However,the organisation members have reported that PU has not extended the date this year and have therefore put forth the demand for extension.
