Hooda credits people for state’s success

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today credited the people of the state for making it a national leader on all fronts. Addressing a public meeting at Mullana after inaugurating a new grain market,Hooda said the state had become number one in terms of per capita investment,per capita income (after Goa),in wheat and milk production,sports and also in a number of other fields.

The credit for making the state proud in the Commonwealth Games and the recently concluded Asian Games goes to the players of the state,with whose efforts the state got laurels at the international level,he added. Hooda said the players would soon be felicitated.

Referring to the defeat of HPCC President Phool Chand Mullana in the recent Vidhan Sabha elections,he said the area was adversely affected with the non-election of an able person like Phool Chand Mullana,the HPCC President.

Hooda referred to the number of schemes implemented for the welfare of farmers and disadvantaged sections. He inaugurated a railway over bridge,a 66-KV sub-station,two sports stadiums and Rajiv Gandhi Bharat Nirman Sewa Kendra that has cost about Rs 56 crore.
