The BJP has launched its Mission-2024 Lok Sabha’s preparations by announcing to hold a 50-day-long Rath Yatra across the state, beginning December 5. In the Rath Yatra, the BJP will be showcasing central as well state government’s achievements, various people-welfare schemes and seeking a feedback from the people on ground. Through this yatra, the BJP will give a message to its ally Dushyant Chautala-led JJP that the party will go solo at least in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls-2024.

Currently, BJP holds all 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana. Party sources told The Indian Express that certain top state leadership of BJP in Haryana are not in favour of continuing the alliance with JJP. Former Union minister Birender Singh had said that the BJP should snap ties with JJP, while similar opinions are being given by other party leaders, too.

A senior BJP leader said, “Dushyant has failed his candidates in Rajasthan. In those constituencies, if BJP candidates lose by thin margins and JJP’s candidates had taken substantial or sizeable votes; it is obvious that JJP would be blamed for BJP candidates’ loss. It is bound to have its impact on the alliance in Haryana because the party would not tolerate its candidate’s loss due to JJP’s contest in Rajasthan”.

Nayab Saini said, “The BJP works in a well-planned manner and that is the reason all the policies of the government are implemented on ground. The recent example is when Supreme Court appreciated Haryana government’s stubble-management and reprimanded Punjab government.
