Finally the process of submission of forms for admission to Class XI in government senior secondary schools ended on Thursday. As many as 16,576 prospectuses were sold and 15,577 were submitted against 13,000 seats. The number of forms submitted for admission in the government school was higher than the stipulated seats. The prospectuses were sold in six schools - Government Model Senior Secondary School (GMSSS),Sector 20,GMSSS Modern Housing Complex,Manimajra,GMSSS,Sector 10,GMSSS,Sector 37,GMSSS Sector 46 and GMSSS,Sector 28. 3,959 prospectuses were sold and 3,909 forms submitted at GMSSS-37 while at GMSSS Modern Housing Complex,Manimajra,3,320 were sold and 3,368 forms were deposited. A total of 1,454 prospectuses were sold and 1252 forms were submitted at GMSSS-28. In GMSSS-20,as many as 2,230 prospectuses were sold and 2039 admission forms were submitted. GMSSS-10 witnessed a sale of 2,885 prospectuses whereas 2,393 forms were deposited in the said school. Lastly at GMSSS-46,a total of 2,728 prospectuses were sold and 2,393 were submitted.
