Goods train derails in Nabha

A goods train carrying food grains from Nabha to Kerala derailed near the Nabha railway station today morning. Sources say the train was shunting and derailed,causing panic in the area. However,rail traffic was not disrupted as the derailed goods train was not on the mainline track,said Railways’ Divisional Manager for Ambala.

“The derailment was due to a manual problem. No rail traffic was disrupted,” the DRM said.
