Out of the six Indian nationals,who were repatriated back from Pakistan on February 16 after spending years in jails there,the family members of five nationals are yet to reach Amritsar to take them back from the Red Cross where they have been made to stay.
On February 16,Pakistan had repatriated 19 Indian nationals,including 13 fishermen. The five nationals who are still in Red Cross even after being released by Pakistan are Hari Chand,Ghulam Nabi Shah,Miru,Mohammed Ahmed and Sanesar Choudhary.
These nationals hail from different parts of the country. According to Red Cross Secretary Dr K S Bhalla,four out of the five nationals appeared to be mentally unstable. Bhalla said a family had come from Uttrakhand to take one national with them,but the name given by them and the one supplied to us by the Pakistan did not match.
