Earphones plugged in,man walks on track,run over by train
A young man,in his mid-twenties,was crushed to death on the railway track near Mansa Devi complex.

A young man,in his mid-twenties,was crushed to death on the railway track near Mansa Devi complex. The man was walking on the track with earphones plugged in when the accident took place. The broken phone and earphones were recovered from near the body.
The police have recovered the SIM card from the phone,which was unharmed and were trying to ascertain the identify of the deceased.
The incident took place at about 11 am,when a young man,dressed in red T-shirt and blue trousers was walking on the track.
According to eye witnesses,he was perhaps listening to music or attending a phone call,while walking on the track.
The time when this accident took place,Himalayan Queen was coming on the track. It is possible that he did not hear the trains sound,which was coming from behind and eventually ran over him. We have recovered his phone and SIM card and earphones as well. Further investigations are on, said one of the investigating officials.
