How is bougainvillea multiplied? Do we need any chemical to treat it?
Any tip for making cuttings?
Gurmeet Singh,Chandigarh
The bougainvillea is multiplied by way of cuttings. Make ten-inch long cuttings and keep the lower edge slanting. Insert two third of it in pure sand and keep it in shade. Keep the medium moist all through. After a few weeks the cuttings will strike roots. It is then that these can be shifted to the place where these are intended to be.
