As many as 38 police personnel were awarded with the DGPs Disc on the event of National Police Day on Wednesday. At a function held at the police lines,they were conferred this newly instituted commendation disc for their outstanding work in the field of investigation,law and order,sports,training and also for honesty. ADGP (CID) I D Bhandari,DIG (CID) N Venugopal,SP-rank officers Sonal Agnihotri,Madhu Sudan,Ajay Bodth,ASP Arvind Digvijay Negi,ASP Diwakar Sharma and DSP Bhagat Singh were decorated with the DGPs Disc that was given to them by Himachal Pradesh Director General of Police G S Gill. The Himachal Pradesh Police also paid rich tributes to the policemen who died on duty in the last one year.
