The special court of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has allowed an application moved by the CBI to take voice samples of suspended sub-inspector (S-I) Sanjeev Kumar, who was held in an alleged graft case from the Neelam police post last year.

While moving the application, the CBI counsel said they had put the mobile phones of some people on surveillance, after receiving a complaint from Arvind Pandey,a local shopkeeper.

Pandey had alleged that the S-I had asked for a bribe to get his shop vacated from unauthorised occupation, said the CBI counsel.
