Cops claim to have solved mystery of ISBT-43 body

On Wednesday,Rajkumar’s body was found at ISBT 43 and the next day,Yuvraj,a resident of Nepal contacted the police and informed them of a robbery with him,the previous day,at ISBT 43 and that mobile phone was stolen along with his luggage and cash.

Yuvraj,along with four others,had started a bus journey from Shimla at 2 pm on Wednesday and reached here at ISBT at 7 pm.

All the men left for having dinner except Yuvraj who went to relieve himself. On coming back,he couldn’t find the others and his luggage was also missing. Next morning,he reported to have found three of the men in a drugged state at the ISBT. Meanwhile during investigation,it was found that two calls were made from Yuvraj’s missing mobile phone and the location of the caller was found to be Haridwar. The two men,Vikram and Ramesh,were arrested and the modus operandi was revealed by them.

They disclosed to having been in association with Rajkumar’s gang who looted passengers after drugging them and that in one robbery,Raj Kumar did not give them their share of the loot and also beat them up in an ensuing fight. In wee hours on Wednesday,they saw Raj Kumar at ISBT alone and hatched a conspiracy. The accused mixed some intoxicant in a drink and offered it to Rajkumar. When he became semi-conscious,they took him to the jungle and murdered him by stabbing on his chest and stomach. Rajkumar had told the two that along with his associates,he had looted five persons from Shimla and received a mobile phone as his share,which they took with them after the murder.
