CM: EPF offices will be opened across Haryana

Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar Sunday said that online services would be provided by opening Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) offices in all the districts of the state for the convenience of the employees working in private companies. Until now, two offices are running at Gurgaon district headquarters only. The plan for expansion is being prepared, said Khattar while interacting with entrepreneurs and officers concerned during the Udyam Samvad programme held at Dharuhera in Rewari district on Sunday.

During the Udyam Samvad, on the demand of the entrepreneurs to open the EPF office in Rewari district, the CM said that a plan will be made in the future and EPF offices will be opened in all the districts of the state with proper staff.

During the Udyam Samvad, the CM was apprised of collecting garbage tax through the ‘Shajri Nikaye’ without picking up the garbage. On this, he directed District Municipal Commissioner Uday Singh to install radio frequency identification (RFID) machines at the entrance of industrial units of the Dharuhera area to ensure the presence of garbage lifting by civic employees so that it can be ascertained whether the sweepers are coming to pick up the garbage or not.
