City police force to be deployed in full strength

The police will also increase patrolling during the festive season.

Various police officers will supervise the security arrangements and traffic policemen deployed in various areas will regulate the traffic. Additional force has been deployed at the points which are prone to traffic jams.

The areas which have heavy public movement are being kept under a close watch. There is increased vigil across markets,bus stands,important buildings and installations.

“To ensure safety and security of the all the residents,we have deployed the full police police throughout the city.

“The beat policing in various markets have also been increased in view of the festive season,” Senior Superintendent of Police Naunihal Singh said.
