The Chitkara Lit Fest invites you to explore and celebrate the diverse narratives that define the nation under the theme, ‘A Story Called India.’ Esteemed writers, poets, filmmakers, and spoken word artists will come together to weave tales that reflect the rich cultural heritage and contemporary dynamics of the country. On Saturday, Akshat Gupta will conduct the session, ‘Unlayering Bharat’s Past: Rediscovering Mythology’, filmmaker Imtiaz Ali will speak about ‘The Great Indian Tamasha’ and actor Ashish Vidyarthi will reflect on ‘Diversity and Integration, the Essence of India.’

Ground reality
Gurdeep Sharma’s 28 artworks depict a generation of Punjabis whose hard work has made Punjab prosperous. His exhibition, ‘Weavers of Prosperity’ show the vibrant colours of the state and its people from bhangra to nature, and its arts and crafts. Sharma has adopted a semi-realistic style for his work. “My paintings, are my way of supporting the farmers’ movement, as it was because of the hardworking people of Punjab, with a special reference to the Malwa region, one of the most in the country,” shares Sharma.

Animal instinct
This one’s for all pet owners and animal lovers. Nexus Elante Mall is hosting a two-day pet festival,‘Pet Fed’, that will feature a pet talent and fashion show, fun activities, special food, and a pet march. There will be a dedicated play zone for pets with activities like a ball pit, doggy slides, and more.
