Chandigarh’s Carmel Convent School shuttlers win U-14 badminton tournament

The shuttlers of Chandigarh’s Carmel Convent School, Sector 9, have won the U-14 Inter-School State Badminton Tournament 2023-2024 for girls held at Sector 43 sports complex.

In the final match with Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Sector 26, team on Friday, the Carmel team beat its opponent 2-0.

According to a spokesperson of the UT education department, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Collegiate Public School, Sector 26, drubbed St. Stephen’s School, Sector 45, by 2-0 and secured third place in the tournament. This tournament began on August 18 and concluded on Friday.
