Chandigarh: Two juveniles arrested for sodomising minor

The victim’s father said in his complaint that on the night of October 28, the accused took his son to a sceluded place at some distance fom their home and sodomised him. He also alleged that the accused were known to his son, who studies at a private school in Sohana.

The boy’s father also said that his son was traumatised and disclosed everything to him on Monday following which he lodged a complaint against the accused at Sohana police station following which medical examination of the victim was carried out at Civil Hospital in Phase 6.

The Investigating Officer (IO) of the case, Assistant Sub-Inspector Harpreet Singh, said they have booked the accused under Section 377 (unnatural offences) and Section 3 of the POCSO Act at Sohana PS. “Medical examination has confirmed that the boy was sexually assaulted following which we registered a case and arrested the accused,” he added.
