Chandigarh Golf Academy partners with Callaway Golf

In a major step to boost junior golf in the region,Chandigarh Golf Association announced a three-year agreement with Callaway Golf,USA,in a function held at Chandigarh Golf Association Range on Sunday evening.

In a major step to boost junior golf in the region,Chandigarh Golf Association announced a three-year agreement with Callaway Golf,USA,in a function held at Chandigarh Golf Association Range on Sunday evening.

The agreement included strategic partnership with Callaway Golf to continue the development of junior gold programme at CGA by providing access to the Callaway Golf’s global practices,premium equipment and resources in terms of players and coaches.

“We are proud to be associated with Callaway Golf. It was a dream of us and we are happy that it has come true. Through this,we will be able to utilise the expertise of Callaway Golf in terms of equipment,players and coaches and this partnership will surely nurture the young talent in the region. CGA has a very successful junior programme and with this partnership,the junior golfers will be able to learn more,” said JS Cheema,president CGA.

“With golf now being a part of 2016 Olynpics,we are eager to have a strong focus on the identification of development of golf talent in India. We are looking towards a fruitful association with CGA to promte the sport,” said Vivek Mehta,country head,Callaway Golf.
