In a move aimed at strengthening citizen engagement and ensuring responsive governance, Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria will now hold weekly public hearings every Wednesday at the UT Secretariat in Sector 9, Chandigarh. The interaction will take place from 10 am to 12.30 pm, allowing residents to raise their grievances or concerns directly with the Administrator. Ahead of these public interactions, Kataria will conduct a meeting with senior officers of the Chandigarh Administration from 9.30 am to 10 am to review the action taken on issues raised in previous hearings. According to a UT official, residents interested in meeting the Administrator are required to take prior appointments and can submit their representations through an email at admr-chd@nic.in. Alternatively, physical representations can be submitted at the Office of the Under Secretary, Punjab Raj Bhavan, Sector 6, Chandigarh or at the Office of the Under Secretary, Home Department, UT Secretariat, Sector 9, Chandigarh.
