Bodies of three children were found from Tikar Tal near Morni late on Sunday night. Some passers-by noticed clothes and shoes near the lake but did not find anybody swimming. Suspecting an accident,they informed the police.
The police reached the spot immediately and began a rescue operation. Divers recovered bodies of three boys from the lake.
The bodies have not been identified yet.
According to the police,mischievous children often jump into the lake despite strict directions issued to neighbouring residents that swimming in the lake can be dangerous. There are also boards put up near the lake prohibiting swimming.
