Air force officers booked for stealing money from temple

UT Police has booked Maghuni Malik,Sargent of 3 BRD Air Force and SRP Petro,Warrant Officer,12 Wing Air Force for allegedly stealing the offerings at Lord Jagan Nath Mandir,Sector 31.

UT Police received a complaint by SA Nayak,Secretary,Utkal Sanskritik Sangh (USS),on May 15. The complaint alleged that the two accused have stolen away money belonging to the USS,Lord Jagan Nath Mandir,Sector 31 after breaking the locks. The complaint also alleged that the accused have taken all the original documents and records pertaining to Utkal Sanskritik Sangh. The accused has been booked Under Sections 448 (house trespass) and 380 (theft) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Jai Bhagwan had inquired into the matter and suggested the registration of a case.
