She is always on her toes. As an active event manager on the city scene and donning the hat of an anchor/emcee at corporate do’s,Rashmi Negi is quite a busybody.

But despite her packed schedule, she makes it a point to de-stress every fortnight by indulging in a meal out with friends and family.

“I am a complete foodie. I can list out the best restaurants around town and also tell you the dishes to try as well,” the pretty woman smiles.

For someone who likes to try all kinds of fare,Negi puts continental and baked dishes on her list of culinary weaknesses.

“Perhaps that’s why the Orchid Lounge in Sector 34 and Barbeque Nation in Sector 26 are two of my favourite places. The menu there boasts of a lot of variety,” shares Negi.

Her last memorable meal was around three days ago when she took her parents out for dinner.

“We headed to Barbeque Nation as I really like their barbeque table concept as well as the buffet spread,” says the anchor. Though fond of eating, she is wise about her selection of fare.

“Since most of it is tandoori,I like it that way,” says Rashmi .

At Barbeque Nation, she and her parents chose to order the non-vegetarian selection of fixed snacks .

“With the weather taking a turn,it was ideal to have the barbeque table amid us. We chatted along and had a truly great time,” recalls Rashmi, who is already planning her next rendezvous with friends at a newly opened cafe.
