4 boys stab 22-yr-old Mauli Jagran resident

A 22-year-old resident of Mauli Jagran was allegedly stabbed by four minor children on Sunday morning.

A 22-year-old resident of Mauli Jagran was allegedly stabbed by four minor children on Sunday morning. The altercation took place following a brawl on Diwali night. The youngsters came armed in the morning with a motive to take revenge and also left the victim’s younger brother injured.

The victim,Roshan Lal,a mechanic,was admitted to the Sector-32 Government Multi-Specialty Hospital where his condition was stated to be stable. His brother,Abhey was,however,discharged after administering first-aid,said the police.

The police said Abhey,had a heated scuffle with four boys,all of whom are around 15 years of age and residents of Mauli Jagran following an old enimity. The accused thrashed Abhey on Diwali night and fled from the spot. This morning,Abhey and his brother Roshan spotted one of the assailants,and bashed him up.

The police said later the boy informed his friends,who came armed to the residence of Roshan Lal. The argument turned violent,following which one of them picked up a bottle and hit it on Roshan’s head. Subsequently,another one of them pulled out a knife and stabbed Roshan in his belly. They also assaulted Abhey,who escaped with minor injuries. Both brothers were rushed to the hospital while the accused fled from the spot.

The police said a case of attempt to murder,assault,trespassing and common intension had been registered against the accused,who are still at large.
