3,500 take XAT in city

Over 3,500 students appeared for the Xavier Aptitude Test one of the examinations for admission to B-schools,today.

Over 3,500 students appeared for the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT),one of the examinations for admission to B-schools,today. The test was held at various centres of the city including Shivalik Public School,Sector 41,DAV Sector 10,Army Public School,Chandimandir etc. The test is conducted by XLRI across the country for its MBA courses.

The test invoked mixed response from candidates,with some of them finding it more difficult than CAT,which was held in November-December. Students also found the test was lengthier and tougher than last year’s. “The section dealing with logic and analytical reasoning was very difficult. However,the English section was comparatively easy,” said Kunal,a candidate.
