2 hurt in acid attack

Two unidentified motorcycle borne youths threw acid on two local traders and left them badly burnt late Tuesday night near Dakala Road. Police have registered a case and have started investigations in the matter.

According to the police local businessmen Rakesh Kumar and Sushil Kumar were attacked from behind by unidentified youth. “The two accused tried to burn the traders but when the acid they threw missed the target they returned and attacked the traders again leaving them badly burnt”,they said.

Police said that the two victims have been admitted to the Government Rajindra Hospital and the doctors attending to them confirmed that their face is badly damaged but their situation is out of danger.
