Wrong GUJCET questions: Board to decide in students’ favour

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has clarified that the students need not worry about the mistakes is six questions of Chemistry section in the Gujarat Common Entrance Test held on Thursday.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has clarified that the students need not worry about the mistakes is six questions of Chemistry section in the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) held on Thursday.

In a statement on Friday,the board said the teachers evaluating answer sheets will take care and decide in favour of the students in connection with the six questions. According to Board vice-chairman H K Patel,none of the four alternate answers given in the six questions were correct.

The release added that the mistakes appeared to be that of the paper setters and they would be asked to explain for it. The board also asked the students to inform it in case there were any other mistake so that a corrective action can be taken.
