VMC to give alternative land to shop owners in Sursagar Lake

In an important development,the Standing Committee of the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) has decided to provide an alternative piece of land to the owner of the Sagar Beach located in the Sursagar Lake. The matter was sub-judice as the owner Dahyabhai Patel had approached the court against VMC’s decision to vacate the plot. The VMC recently took the decision that the owner of the Sagar Beach should be given the same size of land in Town Planning Scheme 13 in the Chhani area on 99 years lease.
