Traffic restrictions put in place for Eid-e-Milad procession in Ahmedabad today. Here are the routes that you can take
In Ahmedabad, the procession will start from Jamalpur Hebatkhan's Masjid Jamalpur Darwaza at 2 pm and reach Jamalpur Chakla via J L High School road.

It will go through Khas Bazaar Kolsa Gali, Pattharkuwa Relief Road, to Lal Darwaja Vijli Ghar, Dinbai Tower and Mirzapur Qureshi Chowk. The Ahmedabad Traffic Police on Thursday notified road closures and diversions for traffic movement for Eid-e-Milad processions on Friday.
In Ahmedabad, the procession will start from Jamalpur Hebatkhan’s Masjid Jamalpur Darwaza at 2 pm and reach Jamalpur Chakla via J L High School road. It will go through Khas Bazaar Kolsa Gali, Pattharkuwa Relief Road, to Lal Darwaja Vijli Ghar, Dinbai Tower and Mirzapur Qureshi Chowk. During this time, the following restrictions will be put in place:
1. Traffic won’t be allowed to go from Jamalpur Char Rasta towards Khamsa.
2. The road from Raikhad crossroads to Gol Limda will be closed for vehicular traffic.
3. The road from Pankor Nanka to Lal Darwaja will be closed for vehicular traffic.
4. The road from Ghee Kanta crossroads to Vijli Ghar to Lal Darwaja will be closed for vehicular traffic.
5. The route from Delhi Chakla to Mirzapur Road to Lucky Hotel to Vijli Ghar will be closed.
AMTS bus route
1. Since movement from Lal Darwaja via Mirzapur to Delhi Darwaja will not be possible, commuters can travel from Roopali Cinema to Cama Hotel to Shahpur Crossroads to Delhi Darwaza.

2. Since it will not be possible to travel from Lal Darwaza to Khamasa and to Astodia Darwaza, AMTS buses can move to Raikhad to the right, via Gaekwad Haveli to Jamalpur Crossroads, via Slaughter House Geeta Mandi, to reach Astodia.
