TERI gives renewable energy map for state

The Energy Research Institute (TERI) has prepared a first of its kind renewable energy (RE) resource atlas for Gujarat which estimates that the state has a RE potential of 750 Gigawatt (GW),most of which is concentrated in Kutch district. “Gujarat is one of the biggest states of the country having large amount of waste land along with good solar radiation and wind flow for most of the year,” said TERI in a recent study on renewable energy in the state.
