Surat’s pride: two science,one general stream students in state top 10

Shreya who aspires to become a cardiologist gives the credit of her success to her parents and teachers in Bhulka Bhawan school. Shreya’s mother is an LIC agent and her father works for L&T at Hazira. In Shreya’s words,concentration on study is more important than the number of hours for success in exams.

Lukhi Ketan,son of a diamond polisher,wants to make career in Electronics and Communication sector. He has studied in P P Sawani school in Varachha and wants to do BE from Nirma Institute.

“My family was under tension when all the diamond units in the city shut down. But my father asked me not to worry and concentrate on my study,” said Ketan. Ketan does not want to get into diamond business.

Harsh,whose father is a broker in diamond business,wants to become a chartered accountant. In fact,Harsh has already started his preparation for this as he has to take the exam soon.

“The main reasons for my selecting CA as my career goal are my interest in accounts and management and the availability of good coaching for these exams in Surat,” said Harsh.
