Gujarat has been selected in the Annual All India Police Duty Meet 2010 scheduled for February. The meet will be organised at the Police Training Academy at Karai in Gandhinagar. Taking pride for the honour,DGP S S Khandwawala launched a website www.53aipdm-gujarat.in for the forthcoming ceremony. Nearly 1,200 police officers across the country will participate in the meet. The meet will have various competitions for police officers like anti-sabotage checking,police photography and videography,life-saving techniques and computer skills. Khandwawala on Monday held a meeting with the senior IPS officers to discuss the agenda of the meet. A special team of IPS officers has been formed to make arrangements for the meet. Last year,the meet was organised in Bangalore,where 23 states participated and 15 different police forces including 750 police personnel were present.
