The state BJP has decided to use the time gap between CM Narendra Modis birthday (September 17) and the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay (September 25) to expand the party organisation and increase mass contact between workers and the public. The main objective will be to connect one lakh people from each district with the CM via the social media. Party spokesman I K Jadeja said the campaign will be taken to the block level to achieve the target.
State presidents of seven frontal organisations and conveners of 31 party cells, along with office-bearers,met at Gandhinagar on Friday in the presence of Modi. Jadeja said that to mark the launch of membership expansion, each of the seven fronts will be given a target to bring in one lakh persons to the partyfold with the help of 100 extension workers, who,in turn, will lead 20,000 youth workers to run the drive.
