Seal of approval by people for PM Modi’s pro-people policies: Shah on BJP’s poll victories

Speaking in Gujarati, Shah said, “Today is an auspicious day for all of us. Today, we have formed the government in Bihar for the fifth straight time. And the swearing in was held today in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

“Bihar elections were fought on issues. On one side was ‘ghamandiya gathbandhan’ (arrogant alliance- referring to Mahagathbandhan of RJD, Congress and others) which believes in “jungle raj” (lawlessness). On the other side was the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) which kept Bihar safe. On one side, there was Congress which supported illegal infiltrators. On the other side, there was the BJP which has resolved to identify and deport each and every illegal infiltrator living in not only Bihar but the entire country,” Shah said.

“And the people of Bihar have given a historic mandate. Since 2024, we have broken many records. Prime Minister Modi became the PM for the third time. People of Bihar have formed our government continuously since 2010. Our government was formed in Odisha for the first time. We recorded a hattrick in Haryana. We scored a hattrick in Maharashtra. We formed a government for the third time in Arunachal Pradesh. Our government was formed in Andhra Pradesh for the first time. In Sikkim too, a government of the NDA was formed. And we came to power in Delhi after 27 years and the AAP was wiped out,” Shah added.

(The tradition of continuous victories is a seal of approval by people for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s pro-people policies and the relentless work to secure the country.)”

The BJP and NDA are creating a series of electoral victories because of the various welfare works done by the PM Modi led government like housing for the poor, toilets for all, electricity, free grains and free health treatment up to Rs 5 lakh.

Shah also said that in the name of policies, the previous governments were implementing policies built in foreign countries like an act of ‘cut paste’. However, he said, PM Modi has done deep study of our issues and framed policies for its resolution.

Talking about the inauguration of a new party office for Bhavnagar district BJP unit, Shah said that the party office is like a ‘second home’ for the party workers. “In 2015, we decided to have a party office in every district of the country. Today, if we see…out of 787 districts, work has been completed on 697 district office buildings. And in our Gujarat, we have to build 42 district offices. Twenty five were built, eight have already been built and work is in progress for five.”

Highlighting the importance of party office for BJP, Shah said that the task of running municipality, municipal corporation, taluka panchayat, district panchayat, state governments and central government is being done through party policies. And these policies and electoral strategies are being framed at party offices.
