Rupala undergoes angioplasty; out of danger,say doctors

State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Parshottam Rupala was admitted to a hospital here on Monday morning after he complained of chest pain. Doctors at the SAL Hospital later conducted angiography and angioplasty on him.

Party spokesman I K Jadeja said in the evening that Rupala’s condition is stable. Chief Minister Narendra Modi,who is presently in Russia,has wished Rupala a speedy recovery over the phone,said an official release.

morning and was rushed to the hospital where Dr Tejas Patel attended on him.

Rupala will,however,be kept under observation in the ICU for 72 hours. Prominent national leaders like L K Advani,Rajnath Singh and G Satish inquired about Rupala’s health over the phone,said sources.
