Police officer suspended on charges of misconduct

A sub-inspector of the Wadania Bridge Police Chowki was suspended on Tuesday on charges of misconduct with another police officer.

Sub-Inspector I A Shaikh was posted in the Wadania Bridge Police Chowki,overlooking the communally sensitive area of Fatehpura.

Shaikh has been suspended on charges of misconduct, said Police Commisioner Rakesh Asthana.

However,B N Chawda,Inspector of the City Police Station,is yet to receive any order about Shaikhs suspension from the authorities.

I am yet to receive any order from the seniors. Shaikh is still on duty as per my knowledge,he said.
