One who ‘exposed’ scams landed himself in trouble, Paatil takes a swipe at Jadeja
Brushing aside the AAP allegations that the state government was targeting Jadeja for blowing whistles on scams, Paatil said, “...this person (Jadeja) used to get the tip off before all whenever someone took some examination as a dummy candidate or some paper was leaked in the state.

The man who used to claim to expose paper leak scams has himself landed in the dock, Gujarat BJP chief C R Paatil said Monday on AAP leader Yuvrajsinh Jadeja’s arrest in an alleged extortion case.
Brushing aside the AAP allegations that the state government was targeting Jadeja for blowing whistles on scams, Paatil said, “…this person (Jadeja) used to get the tip off before all whenever someone took some examination as a dummy candidate or some paper was leaked in the state. Likewise, police also get information from criminals acting as sources. The sources of the accused who have been arrested may also have been associated with some other crime.” The police have collected evidence, including video evidence, of how the accused extorted crores by pressurising “innocent people” and some criminals to not expose them, he added.
When reminded that Jadeja had named some BJP leaders in the alleged dummy candidates exam recruitment scam, Paatil said: “Naming someone and producing evidence are two different things… While calling out names, it is his duty to show evidence. It is not proper to call out names in an attempt to shield himself”.
The BJP leader said the police would also investigate those named by Jadeja.
