One dies as man stabs neighbours over trivial issue

A Man was killed and his father seriously injured following a fight with their neighbour over a petty matter in the early hours on Sunday in the Odhav area.

According to the police,accused Pravin Bhalodia stabbed the father-son duo when they reportedly made noise at night and disturbed his sleep. The incident occurred when victims Babu Vaghasiya (45) and his son Dikshesh (20),and Bhalodia were sleeping on the common terrace of their building at Nikol Road in Odhav.

At night,Dikshesh got up and started folding his bed which disturbed Bhalodia and he picked up a fight with him. When the argument heated up,Babu intervened to save his son. At this,Bhalodia took out a knife from his pocket and stabbed Babu and Dikshesh in their chests. Both were rushed

to the V S Hospital for treatment.

Dikshesh succumbed to his injuries late in the evening while Babu is reported to be critical. The accused absconded from the spot after stabbing the duo.

The police have registered a case of murder under Section 302 of the IPC and begun further investigations.
