Speaking to The Indian Express, state NSUI president Adityasinh Gohil said his organisation would take this movement across the state and demand that budget of all universities and colleges in the state were made available online.

Gohil said all state and central universities and government or grant-in-aid college received financial assistances from the government. But neither students nor even teachers of these institutions were ever told about the quantum of grant received and how and where these were spent,he said.

Gohil said putting the budgets online would help check bad management of funds by authorities. He said 14 universities in the country had already put their budget online after persuasion by NSUI.
