The JNU row has now become the subject of a book — JNU Ki Sachhai by Dr Shankar Sharan, Assistant Professor at NCERT. It was launched at MSU on Saturday. At the launch, Sharan lashed out at JNU for “turning education into politics” and said that anti-Hinduism and deep-rooted Marxists thoughts have made JNU “a different country” in India. He particularly attacked the course content of social sciences and humanities . [related-post] Sharan’s book is a compilation of ten topics dealing with “JNU Professors’ activism”. Sharan criticised the “Left-inclined” professors of JNU for “contaminating the education”. Recalling The Political Abuse of History, a six-page document by Romila Thapar and 25 Marxist historians from JNU’s history department on Ayodhya issue, Sharan said, “The book said that the BJP-RSS was inciting a communal movement and uninformed Muslims thought it was true. JNU only believes in talking about divide, not in uniting.”
