JD-U chief in Vadodara,plays tribal card

Janata Dal chief Sharad Yadav on Thursday said the party would focus primarily on tribal issues in the state for the upcoming Assembly elections and might field candidates in all 27 tribal-reserved Assembly constituencies in the state.

Address mediapersons in the city,he said the tribals in the state were facing “isolation” amidst state government’s claims of development,and that they are “the most troubled section of society”. “We are concerned about our masses. There are 27 seats reserved for ST candidates,though we cannot say at this stage as to how much seats we will contest on,” he said.
