IITGN holds int’l conference on Emotion,Action

To understand the importance of studying “Emotion” and “Action” in the area of Cognitive Science,Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) has organised an international conference – Cognition,Emotion and Action. At this conference,leading researchers from different areas of cognitive science,such as cognitive or computational psychology,philosophy of mind,neuroscience,artificial intelligence,anthropology will come together at the event organised by IITGN’s Cognitive Science programme from December from 6 to 8. While the event will be inaugurated by vice-chancellor of the Central University of Bihar Janak Pandey,who was instrumental in setting up the first-ever centre for Cognitive Sciences in India at Allahabad University; others like Thomas Metzinger of Philosophisches Seminar,Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz and Tom Albright of SALK Institute for Biological Studies will deliver the keynote address.
