According to the State Emergency Operation Centre (SEOC), the avergae rainfall receipt the state received rose from 90.81 per cent to 101.08 per cent as on Wednesday. Overall, the state has received 90 mm rainfall between September 17 and 20.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast on Wednesday, there is no heavy rainfall warning for Gujarat till September 24.
The state recorded 242.96 mm rainfall in June, 448.73 mm in July, 25.49 mm in August and 168.85 mm till September 20.
Of the total 251 talukas, 145 have received rainfall between 500 to 1,000 mm followed by 66 talukas with over 1,000 mm and 40 with 251-500 mm rainfall.
Region-wise, in terms of average per cent Kutch received the highest rainfall in these three days with 22 per cent points, followed by North Gujarat (19.69 per cent points) and East Central (13.17 per cent points).
The rainfall data maintained by SEOC says that 13 districts received above 100 per cent average rainfall that include Kutch (158.73 per cent), Banaskantha (106.58 per cent), Anand (112.92 per cent), Panchmahal (109.22 per cent), Mahisagar (121.97 per cent), Rajkot (120.82 per cent), Morbi (100.14 per cent), Jamnagar (123.73 per cent), Devbhoomi Dwarka (117.08 per cent), Junagadh (167.78 per cent), Gir Somnath (137.99 per cent), Bhavnagar (110.06 per cent) and Porbandar (110.39 per cent).
The state has received 20 per cent more rainfall than the normal rainfall this monsoon season since June 1. The onset of southwest monsoon in Gujarat was on June 25, delayed by nearly 10 days this year.
