Gujarat govt’s Chintan Shibir Day 2: Session on using AI to boost govt services held

A session to strengthen the government services through the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) was held Friday on the second day of Gujarat government’s ‘Chintan Shibir’ in Gir Somnath district’s Somnath, said a statement.

A subject matter expert addressed the session, also attended by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the government statement added. Expert Jigar Halani discussed the ways deep technology, AI and data analytics can be used for strengthening the government services during the session, said the statement.

Halani provided an analysis on attempts being made in the direction of the possibilities of making Gujarat an AI model.

According to the statement, the speaker provided a presentation on how to make the benefits of government schemes easily accessible to needy people through Artificial Intelligence.

The presentation also included directions on how AI could be used to highlight the art of local artisans at global level.

The official release added that Halani also talked about how AI could prove to be a milestone in providing employment opportunities to youths at local level. The three-day Chintan Shibir, a brainstorming exercise of Gujarat government, is being attended by state cabinet ministers along with senior government officials.
