Gujarat: Flyers from 47 countries to take part in global kite festival

At least 143 kite flyers from 47 countries and 52 kite flyers from 11 states of the country will participate in the International Kite Festival- 2025. The festival will be organised by Gujarat Tourism Department from January 11 to 14.

Additionally, 417 kite flyers from 11 cities of Gujarat will also take part in the event. The inauguration ceremony at Vallabhasdan Riverfront will be attended by CM Bhupendra Patel and Tourism Minister Mulubhai Bera. Similar kite festivals will be organised on January 12 at Statue of Unity (Ekta Nagar), Rajkot and Vadodara and on January 13 at Surat, Shivrajpur, Dhordo.
