Gujarat confidential: Thank You Lunch

As a gesture of gratitude and appreciation towards the mess workers, faculty and students of Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) on Sunday donned chef caps, as student affairs office and members of the IIT student council hosted a ‘Thank You Lunch’ for the mess staff.

The initiative brought together Director Prof Rajat Moona, Dean (Student Affairs) Prof Sivapriya Kirubakaran, faculty members, staff, their families and students.

They took on the roles of chefs and servers, personally preparing and serving lunch to the mess staff. Close to 100 mess staffers, including managers, chefs, cooking assistants as well as mess housekeeping and serving staff were invited.
